The D&F partnership specializes in providing shipping industry experts with tools to facilitate their decision-making process. We generate weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports that provide insight into market trends and key indicators to provide a quick-substantial-to point overview of the dry bulk shipping market. Additionally, we provide a meeting point for cargo brokers and ship brokers to exchange information and arrange chartering agreements.

Ramon F. Duque


Ramon F. Duque obtained his B.Sc. in Marine Engineering in 2018 from the Technical University of Madrid, specializing in the design of ship propulsion systems and machinery, where he also acquired Python Data Analysis Certificates. Ramon acquired international experience at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, where he completed in 2016 various Naval Architecture courses and developed professional relationships. He obtained his master’s degree in Global Shipping Management from the University of Greenwich in London, UK. He is a Co-Founder of D&F Shipping Market Analysis and is responsible for producing the Shipping Data Analysis models used in the company’s reports.

Dionysios Fotoulis


Dionysios Fotoulis attained his bachelor’s degree in 2009 at the Merchant Marine Academy of Macedonia in Greece. He has attended many courses related to the Maritime industry and owns their Certificates. He served as an officer for almost 15 years in the shipping industry. He obtained his master’s degree in Global Shipping Management from the University of Greenwich in London, UK. Currently, he is working as a shipping analyst, and he is the Co-founder of D&F Shipping Market Analysis.

George Kiourktsoglou

Private Consultant

George Kiourktsoglou obtained his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering in 1992 from the Aristotelian Technical University of Thessaloniki in Greece. He studied Nuclear Engineering and Applied Physics at Cornell University. From 1996 till 2009 he worked for Royal Dutch Shell both in Greece and abroad, assuming various roles in Downstream Marketing, Strategy, Negotiations and eventually in Health, Safety, Environment and Security (H.S.S.E.). Sponsored by Shell Hellas, he graduated in 2006 from Alba in Athens with a Diploma in Management and two years later with an M.B.A. George is a member of the American Nuclear Society, the Chartered Management Institute and the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science Technology in London.
